A small studio making iOS apps
App Waffle is an independent software studio founded in 2026 and based in Bonita Springs, Florida. We design and build apps for iPhone — games and utilities, made one at a time.
The studio exists because most of the apps we wanted didn't exist, or did exist and were buried under upsells, trackers, and feature creep. App Waffle is a place to build the smaller, sharper version instead.
What we make
What we make
We make iOS apps. Right now that means Waffle Ball, a physics-based tennis game built around a single AI opponent and a single rally at a time. More apps will follow as they're ready — we'd rather ship one app a year that earns its place than four that don't.
Every App Waffle app aims to be:
- Self-contained. It works on its own. No account required unless the app genuinely needs one.
- Honest about money. If something costs money, the price is on the page. No hidden subscriptions.
- Quiet about your data. We collect as little as we can get away with, and we say what we collect on the privacy page.
What we care about
What we care about
Craft over scale. A clean app that does one thing well beats a bloated one that tries to do ten. We sweat the small stuff — animation timing, haptics, what happens when the network drops out, what the app looks like the first second after launch.
We also care about being a real, reachable studio. A contact form in the footer, an actual privacy policy, an actual legal entity behind the work (App Waffle LLC, registered in Florida). If something's broken or you have a question, a person reads what comes through.
